Since its launch in 2017, our annual International AEM (Advanced Endoscopy Masterclass) has become firmly established as one of the unmissable, leading educational endoscopy events on the global calendar.
As attested and evidenced over the years by universally positive feedback from our thousands of delegates (from over 40 countries), we are very proud that the International AEM's very carefully, uniquely-designed method of step-by-step didactic and hands-on teaching by some of the very best international experts, remains a world-first and in a league of its own.
Following on from the success of 2025 we will be returning to Malta.
Bringing the International AEM to Malta, we bring this to clinicians and allied healthcare professionals, hailing from rising key parts of Europe, the Middle-East and Africa encompassing the whole Mediterranean Region.
In tune with its core principles of excellence in medicine, minimally-invasive care and comprehensive quality, the International AEM Malta shall be held in the UNESCO city of Valletta, at the world-renowned Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC), also known as the 'Sacra Infermeria', which used to serve as the hospital of the Knights of Malta since 1574.
The International AEM Malta shall run from the 15th to the 17th April 2026, enjoying the warm Mediterranean climate.
It is designed for 300 international delegates and commences on the early afternoon of the 15th April, with half-a-day of interactive and didactic sessions, followed by a Gala Dinner.
The 16th April shall kick-off in the morning with frontline, didactic sessions, highlighting the latest developments in endoscopy, followed by a networking buffet-lunch in the beautiful hall of the Sacra Infermeria itself, which shall also host our exhibition of industry partners. The afternoon of the 16th April shall encompass interactive video sessions to showcase technological advancements at the cutting edge. These academic sessions shall all be held within the MCC's state-of-the-art, award-winning auditorium.
On the evening of the 16th April, all participants shall enjoy a short edition of the celebrated 'Malta Experience', highlighting the rich history of the Maltese Islands, before a networking reception with our faculty on the large terrace of the MCC, overlooking the magnificent, world-famous Grand Harbour.
The 17th April shall dedicate itself to the highly acclaimed 'International AEM's hands-on School of Endoscopy' (the largest of its kind), where a select group of participants shall undertake hands-on training with our faculty of experts, who shall teach using our unique purpose-built, step-by-step method, after first demonstrating every step of the designated technique.
As in recent years, the 'International AEM's hands-on School of Endoscopy' shall focus on comprehensive education on:
Each of these carefully-designed hands-on training courses shall be introduced by a set of targeted lectures and shall take-place within individual dedicated parts of the MCC. As always, the 'International AEM's hands-on School of Endoscopy' is exclusively powered in partnership with the highly acclaimed 'Roeya Endotraining'.
